Brenda (edited)My Approach

Life can feel heavy when responsibilities, relationships, or personal challenges begin to pile up. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, honoring the whole person—mind, body, and community. Together, we explore what matters most to you, identify your strengths, and practice practical tools that can be carried beyond our sessions. I also integrate psychoeducation, as understanding your experiences and patterns can help build resilience and lasting skills.

My Background

I am a proud Latina and Mexicana, and my approach emphasizes resilience, identity, and connection. I was inspired to pursue psychology to support my community and help individuals navigate their mental health, hoping to create a butterfly effect that nurtures a culture of care en mi comunidad. I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on providing culturally and linguistically responsive care for Latinx clients. Additionally, I have experience in community mental health, where I worked with survivors of domestic violence and supported individuals on their healing journeys.

Let’s work together

Healing is possible, and you don’t have to face challenges alone. In our sessions, we will create a safe, respectful, and empowering space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll build insight, practical skills, and self-awareness so you can navigate life with confidence, balance, and resilience.
